LRA Memorial Plaque

A permanent 45" x 70" memorial plaque will be hung in the archway closest to Lake Rabun Road of the old stone wall at Hall's Boathouse (currently Lakemont Marine).  The plaque will have an arched title plaque hanging above it in the arched area of the opening that will read:  "Lake Rabun Association Memorial:Remembering Those Who Loved The Lake"

Each plate on the memorial will cost $230.00.  A portion of this will be a donation to the Lake Rabun Foundation in memory of your loved ones in the amount of $100.00.  The remaining $130.00 will be for the cost of the plate and engraving.  Because of the difference in the tax classifications of the LRA and the LRA Foundation, please make the $100.00 check payable to the LRA Foundation and the $130.00 check plus any extra character charges to the LRA.

There will be room for 100 2” x 8” plates on the master plaque.  The order form below explains how to reserve a place on the memorial for a deceased member of the Lake Rabun Association and / or one of their family members.  The costs of a 2” x 8” plate are based on 25 characters in the wording on the plate.  For example:

If the characters exceed 25 you will need to add 42 cents per extra character to your $130.00 check made payable to the LRA.  Spaces, commas, periods, hyphens, etc. are considered characters the same as letters of the alphabet.  The above example has 43 characters so an additional charge of (18 x $0.42 = $7.56) should be added to the $130.00 for a total of $137.56.
